I decided to name my shop after my beloved horse Gus because it combined both my love of horses and gemstones.

After collecting gemstones for years, I decided that I needed to share them and started to make jewelry. I have loved discovering new and different gemstones and am continually amazed at the beauty of each and every one of them. I love introducing people to the more unusual gemstones and strive to find these and share them with others. I am mostly self taught, but have also been able to take some classes due to the local Lapidary Society.

Rylee is our Yellow Lab whose job is to collect packages from the mailman. She also functions as a mood lifter and clown. Sadly she passed away from cancer.

Inspiration

Gus inspired the name of my shop because he was always a "gem" of a horse. After 17 years together he crossed "the Rainbow Bridge". I miss him dearly but I was blessed to have such a wonderful companion for so long. Happy Trails my beloved Gussie.

Joy

. Shadow also crossed "The Rainbow Bridge". He was truly the sweetest, calmest and most gentle dog I've ever known. I miss his sweet soul so much, but sometimes I can see him and Gus running in the fields together.

Jesse is our current Labmix rescue dog. He's a Southern boy and a very charming entertaining good old boy. And a real snugglebug.
